BAK 2 NEW was started by Ben Bakalars and his fiancé Kayla Ellis on December 16th, 2018. They went on a vacation with the Ellis family to Hawaii and there Ben proposed in front of her entire family at Black Sand Beach (Wainapanapa State Park). Of course, SHE SAID YES! Upon coming back from their vacation, Ben was laid off from his job, right before Christmas. Ben jumped into action and decided to start working out of his storage unit and started taking in work! He would take in any work he could find since he has so much knowledge. Now he’s able to work on Motorcycles, Boats, RV’s and cars! From there he ended up getting enough work that they needed to get an actual shop! They always dreamt of owning their own business and Ben getting laid off gave them just the push they needed! They’re super excited for the future of their business and to see where it will take them. Truly two small town people who came together to make their dream come alive. Oh, and you can’t forget their four-legged child, Cali. You’ll find her wandering around the shop, don’t be afraid to say hello!
